Job Description:
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-- Diagnose, troubleshoot, test,
install, and repair electrical parts, equipment and systems;
install or replace circuit breakers, fuses, and variable speed--
Work on electrical equipment including but not limited to Frequency
Ddrives (VFDs), contactors, overload devices, fixtures, switches,
receptacles, and wiring-- Safely work with multi-phase, high
voltage and low voltage electrical systems-- Troubleshoot and
resolve control networks, instrumentation, PLC devices
(Programmable Logic Control), HMI (Human Machine Interface), VFD,
servo, and control problems-- Read, analyze, and interpret
technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and
work orders to perform required maintenance and service-- Perform
preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, distribution
systems, motor control centers, and motors-- Assist operators with
training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime--
Maintain communication with other departments, management, and
employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may
restrict the efficiency of production-- Stay up to date on new
products, equipment, technology and techniques-- Utilizing
continuous improvement mindset, identify opportunities to improve
processes-- Anticipate parts requirements for the tasks, follow
proper purchasing procedures, and acquire parts ahead of
anticipated task performance-- Perform and assist in all operations
maintenance activities, in accordance with national, state and
local electrical codes-- Use a computerized maintenance management
system (e.g., SAP) to record and access maintenance related
information-- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and
compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health
and safety issues-- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices
(GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate
regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements-- The
requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and
