Data Quality Analyst in Eagan, MN
 
A top financial firm is looking to fill a Data Quality Analyst job at their Eagan MN location.  The Data Quality Analyst is part of the Database Marketing (DBM) Data Quality Team and is responsible for supporting various data quality initiatives. These initiatives have impact on key enterprise data that flows across various systems including SAP, Salesforce.com, internal marketing systems such as MDB (Marketing Database) & CSS (Customer Service Screen updates), and the enterprise data warehouse.
 
Responsibilities:

• 
  

• Audits processes / establishes procedures to insure key data is captured / managed appropriately
• Prepares & tests data loads for loading into internal systems which also includes communicating with developers as to load requirements, timing and testing.
• Works with Database Marketing analysts to coordinate internal data updates and external data acquisition efforts with the business areas that provide data or rely on information from the database marketing systems.
• Creates data quality reports that provide the business with a view of how certain data quality efforts are having or are not having the desired impact on known data issues.
• Works closely with Data Quality Team on data cleansing initiatives

 
Qualifications/Experience:

• 
  

• BA/BS degree
• 3+ years data analysis/data warehouse experience and 1+ year data analysis/data warehouse experience
• SAP Customer Master knowledge a plus
• Thorough working knowledge of Business Objects, SQL, Microsoft Access and Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with data manipulation, report writing and analysis skills
• West product and operational experience a plus
• Familiarity with database marketing
• Familiarity with external data purchasing, pricing, list quality
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
