Emerald Crest of Burnsville , a Cassia community, is hiring compassionate Caregivers (CNAs, HHAs or PCAs) to join our team in a memory care setting! As a Caregiver , you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Shifts Available: Days 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Part-Time, only every other weekend) Evenings 3:00pm to 11:00pm (Full-Time, including every other weekend) Wage Range: $20 - $24.38 / hour pay range depending on experience Shift Differential: Nights (NOC) $1.00 / hour Location: 451 E Travelers Trail, Burnsville, Minnesota 55337 Caregiver Responsibilities: Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities. Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan. Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN. Assist with light housekeeping duties. Document services performed on computerized charting system. Assist residents with prescribed program activities. Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor. Light housekeeping Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration. Perform additional tasks as needed. Caregiver Qualifications: Needs to have at least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver (Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)) Experience with medication passing is preferred. We are willing to train the right candidate on medication administration. A passion for geriatric care. Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital. Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors. Excellent customer service skills. Availability for both weekday and weekend coverage. Reliable transportation and ability to respond to last-minute requests.
