Job Description:
Mayo Clinic, a leading nonprofit in medical practice and
research, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
for our Outpatient Neurology, Neurosurgery, Spine Center, and
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) departments. This
role is instrumental in advancing our mission of providing expert,
whole-person care. The successful candidate will work closely with
a team of renowned professionals in a collaborative environment,
focused on patient-centered treatment and cutting-edge therapeutic
practices. Assess, diagnose, and manage patient care plans in
collaboration with the medical team. Provide expert consultation
within the multidisciplinary team on complex neurologic cases. Lead
and mentor nursing staff to enhance clinical practice standards.
Conduct research and integrate evidence-based practices into
patient care. Advocate for patients and their families to ensure
comprehensive service delivery. Advanced practice nursing skills
Expertise in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine &
Rehabilitation Leadership and team management Research and
evidence-based practice application Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification
as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Additional certification in
Neurology or Rehabilitation Nursing preferred
