Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - General/Other Location: Minneapolis, MN Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Hematology/Oncology Physician Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician and make a meaningful impact on patient care. This critical role involves providing expert inpatient hematology and oncology services, including malignant hematology, at renowned facilities such as Abbott Northwestern and Allina Health Cancer Institute in Minneapolis. We are seeking a dedicated Board-Certified specialist ready to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting up to 30-40 patients daily with infusion procedures and malignant hematology expertise. Required Skills: Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology (Triple Boarded) MN Medical License (IMLC accepted for quick start) DEA Certification BLS Certification Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience Proficiency in malignant hematology, medical oncology, and infusion coverage Ability to perform specialist-specific procedures Strong inpatient care and call management capabilities EMR experience with Epic platform Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in hospital and infusion center settings Familiarity with additional procedures in hematology/oncology Prior experience with EMR systems other than Epic Ability to handle complex malignant hematology cases with confidence Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completed fellowship in Hematology and Oncology Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship clinical practice Other Requirements: Active Minnesota medical license with IMLC acceptance Eligibility for emergency privileges pending credentialing (~90 days) Willingness to work a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with call support as needed Availability to start as early as 04/13/2026 for a 6-month contract with potential extension or buyout options Support from APPs during weekdays for inpatient responsibilities If you are a highly qualified Hematology/Oncology Specialist seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply promptly.
