Position : Clinical Quality & Patient Safety Coordinator Location :
Roseville, MN or nearby PHS location Hours : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
(Hybrid) THE POSITION: Prepares for accreditation, state department
of health, and other regulatory agency surveys, ensuring that all
requirements have been fulfilled. Coordinates and directs changes
related to accreditation and other regulatory agencies’ standards;
advises managers on standards and coordinates activities to be done
by PHS to meet and comply with agency standards. Develops,
implements, and audits accreditation and licensing-related company
policies, procedures, and assessments. Serves as the point person
for any questions, problems, and issues related to accreditation
and other regulatory agency issues that have been brought forward
by internal staff or external agencies. Educates internal and
external clinicians, as well as PHS’s patients,
families/caregivers, and customers. Exercises discretion and
judgment, which includes duties of a confidential nature. Functions
as the central coordinator within the company for receiving,
processing and responding to all information regarding the safety
of company products and services. Responds to patient safety issues
as quickly as possible; responsible for the communication of
accurate and understandable information in a timely manner to all
affected parties; oversees and verifies appropriate response by
PHS. Responds to any patient harm reports by managing the root
cause analysis process. Functions as the central coordinator for
all med-watches, including submission, and necessary follow-up.
Drives process improvement by managing the clinical process
improvement groups/initiatives. Collaborates with multidisciplinary
team to identify problems and implements resolutions with new
systems or performance measures. Researches, coordinates, and
facilitates activities to assure compliance with all pertinent
regulatory agency requirements. Serves as a resource for clinical
managers, directors, and employees regarding clinical policies,
procedures, and best practices. Participates in and serves on
committees and manages projects. Checks for the existence and
propriety of company policies. Creates, develops, and performs
audits. Prepares or composes and sends correspondence including
letters, e-mails, memos, faxes etc. Creates, develops, and assists
with written, verbal and/or visual presentations. Creates and
maintains spreadsheets and other databases. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or
university; or one to two years of related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Exceptional critical-thinking, research, communication, and
analytical skills; a strong sense of ethics and professionalism; a
high level of organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving and
communication skills. Certificates, License, Registration Clinical
license required: RN, RRT/LRT, PHARM, or other related clinical
license. SALARY RANGE: At PHS, we are committed to providing

$67,528.36 to $75,969.40 yearly based on experience and
