Locum Tenens: Vascular and Interventional Radiologist (Near
Augusta, WI) Are you a dedicated and experienced Vascular and
Interventional Radiologist seeking a rewarding locum tenens
opportunity in a growing community near Augusta, WI? We're actively
searching for a skilled physician to join our team and provide
vital diagnostic and interventional radiology services to patients
in both inpatient and outpatient settings (ASAP - Ongoing). This
locum tenens position offers a blend of scheduled clinic hours and
predictable call coverage, with the potential to transition into a
permanent role. The initial need is for immediate coverage,
followed by recurring periods throughout the year. What We Offer:
Rewarding & Specialized Practice: Utilize your expertise in
Vascular and Interventional Radiology to perform a wide range of
minimally invasive procedures, diagnose vascular conditions, and
provide comprehensive care to patients across both inpatient and
outpatient settings. You'll work collaboratively with a supportive
team in a well-equipped facility. Flexible Coverage Options: Help
us bridge coverage gaps with a variety of scheduling options. We're
seeking initial coverage from July 15th (am) to July 22nd (am),
with additional needs in August (either August 5th (am) to 12th
(am) or 19th (am) to 26th (am . Following August, specific dates
for September through December will be determined. Expect
approximately 7-10 days of coverage every 1-2 months, with the
potential to extend this depending on the permanent recruitment
process. Predictable Call Coverage: Enjoy predictable call
responsibilities alongside your scheduled clinical hours.
Supportive Team Collaboration: Partner with other physicians,
registered nurses, technicians, and support staff to deliver
seamless care for your patients. Advanced Technology & Resources:
Utilize the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system to
enhance efficiency in documentation and communication. Streamlined
Credentialing Process (for qualified candidates): We understand the
importance of timely care and are happy to assist with facilitating
temporary privileges for qualified applicants with a clean history
(estimated timeframe of 60 days). Qualifications: Board-certified
in Diagnostic Radiology with a fellowship in Vascular and
Interventional Radiology is required. Active medical license in
good standing is mandatory. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
are preferred (not mandatory). Minimum of 2 years of clinical
experience in a Vascular and Interventional Radiology setting is
preferred. The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a
fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment and critical
thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the
healthcare team. A commitment to providing compassionate and
