Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: Valid state license preferred Certifications: BLS and RDCS - Adults required; RDCS-Peds preferred Must-Have: Inpatient and ER experience required. Experience with portables and Syngo required. IV starts, PACS, and biopsies preferred. Echo procedure experience required: 3/D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echos, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echos. Experience with Siemens and Phillips equipment/scanners preferred. Description: Position for an Echo Tech. Daily caseload per tech is 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes. First-time candidates are not accepted. Weekend work may be required per department needs. Possible occasional call may be included. Candidates will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Not accepting candidates from within a 100-mile radius. Pending state licenses are accepted. RTO restrictions ideally require no more than 5 days. Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time without obligation. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours. Candidates must include a supervisor reference at the time of submission. Background checks will be conducted. Candidates must have been away for one full year to return after their last assignment. Candidates must agree to background check requirements prior to submission. Modules are required pre-start and recorded. Travelers receive a stipend for completing pre-start modules.
