your future. Responsibilities LAB: The soft matter and
microfluidics group at Mayo Clinic led by Drs. Connie Chang and
James Wilking has multiple openings for research fellows in the
Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering. PROJECT:
Research fellows will work together on a fast-paced,
interdisciplinary project focused on multiplexed drop-based
microfluidics. The work will take place in a dynamic environment,
involving close collaboration with multiple research groups
experienced in microfluidics and microphysiological systems.
Funding is anticipated for a duration of three years. YOU: • Ph.D.
in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Sciences • Preferred
experience in drop-based microfluidics, microfabrication, 3D
printing, optical microscopy, molecular biology, or diagnostics. •
Design and engineer microfluidic chips for manufacturing and
scaling. • Develop and integrate optical systems with automated
microsystems. • Seeking an ambitious, curious, open-minded, and
collaborative individual. • Strong written and oral communication

-omics cores, and biobanks. Qualifications Must have a Ph.D., M.D.,
or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the
program. Compensation Detail $64,787 - $80,990.21 / year.;
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with
internal equity when job offers are extended
