Responsibilities/Job Description:Fairview is hiring an X-ray
Technologist to join our Radiology department at our M Health
Fairview Woodwinds Hospital location in Woodbury, MN.The Hospital
Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and
physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging
in a hospital setting. Responsible for providing quality
age-appropriate patient care for inpatients and outpatients
according to established standards of practice and works
collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The
hospital radiologic technologist supports all imaging procedures,
surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x-ray, and general
x-ray performed in the hospital. Provides assist in the opening of
the supplies/equipment for surgical and special procedure cases as
well as responding to codes, trauma activations and other emergent
needs for imaging in an acute care environment.Schedule: This
position will work a 0.6FTE (48 hours every 2 weeks). The shift
length will be 8 hours. Typical work schedule will be Monday,
Tuesday, Friday, 7:30AM and 4:00PM.About FairviewFairview is an

Certification/RegistrationBasic Life Support (BLS) before date of
hire from American Red Cross or American Heart
AssociationPreferred:Bachelors Degree3 years experience as a
technologist in a hospital settingAdvanced Imaging modality
certificationAdditional Requirements (must be obtained or completed
within a period of time):Understanding of current Minnesota
Department of Health Regulatory requirementsKnowledge of quality
control and safety standardsStrong interpersonal and communication
