Job Description:

A medical device client of ours is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to join their Process Development team. The candidate must have the desire to utilize their skills to solve technical/complex problems in a hands-on manner, working in a fast-paced environment, and across multiple functions in a global company. Seeking tooling and fixturing design experience for catheter manufacturing. This is a contract to direct opening and a great way to get into a very reputable company.

Job Title: Senior Process Development Engineer
Location: Arden Hills, MN
Pay Rate: 45-60hr, depends on skill level

Key Responsibilities

• Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on platform or derivative projects.
• Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.
• Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
• Prepares and presents technical data and recommendations at technical reviews.
• Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOMs, Routers, FMEAs, etc.)
• Writes and reviews validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
  Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline
  • 4+ years of engineering experience within process development or manufacturing
  • MUST BE HANDS ON
  • Strong tooling and fixturing experience is required
  • Demonstrated use of DFSS tools (DOE, problem solving, statistical analysis).
