ten years in a row! Hornig Companies seeks a full-time roving
Maintenance Technician to respond to work orders, prepare units for
new move-ins and perform preventive maintenance in White Bear Lake,
St. Paul, and Roseville. What would my responsibilities include?
Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair apartment maintenance issues
like: Plumbing issues such as leaking faucets, toilets, and other
fixtures Repair or replace blinds, closet doors Low-risk electrical
repair or replacement of lighting, ceiling fans, smoke detectors
Minor sheetrock repair and repair of building construction such as
broken windows and locks Minor caulking of tubs and sinks Minor
appliance repair Provide expertise on building repair,
concentrating on preventing future maintenance concerns in
historical and aging buildings Communicate with residents regarding
repairs in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig
Companies' customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing

bring to the team? Mechanical, plumbing and light electrical
aptitude Specials Boiler’s License, or the ability to obtain within
6 months Ability and willingness to learn Ability to lift up to 75
pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently Valid Driver’s License
and meet car insurance requirements Ability to work rotating
on-call schedule Ability to operate applicable phone applications
for work orders, time allocation, and information look-up Ability
to stand, lift and bend for up to 8 hours (with breaks) in hot/cold
and wet environments Ability to work independently as well as part
of a team Prior Multi-housing experience preferred
